Captain America
Go see Captain America this weekend! Support our Colin!
I went to the premiere on Tuesday and it was the coolest thing ever. First, the movie is AMAZING and Chris Evans is a superstar. Second, there were so many damn people there it was insane. I have been to movie premieres in New York before and they were nothing like this. I mean, they closed down Hollywood Boulevard. I would've taken photos to show you, but the invite said to leave phones in the car. But here's a photo of me in my cool Captain America 3D glasses:

Teen Choice Awards Belong To Justin Bieber, 'Hunger Games'
Taylor Swift and 'Vampire Diaries' also score multiple awards during Sunday's show.

<P>Justin Bieber, One Direction, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus and the casts of "Twilight" and "The Hunger Games" are all proud owners of brand-new surfboards after coming away winners at Sunday's (July 22) <a href="/news/articles/1690174/teen-choice-awards-winners-list.jhtml">Teen Choice Awards</a>.</P><P>The 14th annual awards show was hosted by Demi Lovato and "Glee" star Kevin McHale and featured a host of multiple winners from across the entertainment landscape. It also saw <a href="/news/articles/1690173/justin-bieber-teen-choice-awards-performance.jhtml">performances by Bieber</a>, Carly Rae Jepsen, Flo Rida and <a href="/news/articles/1690171/no-doubt-teen-choice-awards-performance.jhtml">No Doubt, who gave their first televised performance</a> of their new single "Settle Down."</P><P>Awards were voted on by fans, who cast a total of 134 million votes, Lovato reported during the show.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Justin Bieber And Big Sean Get Down At Teen Choice Awards" id="vid:817411.id:1690172" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>Bieber, who performed a medley of "Boyfriend" and "As Long as You Love Me" — the latter featuring an assist from Big Sean — was named Choice Male Artist. I hope you guys are playing it over and over again, and this is just a reminder to everybody in here: Believe. Thank you," he said.</P><P>Bieber's better half, Selena Gomez, was awarded Choice Music Group along with her band, Selena Gomez & the Scene. Gomez accepted on behalf of her bandmates. "This is the best birthday present ever!" said Gomez, who turned 20 on Sunday. The five awards brought her career total to 20 Teen Choice Awards. And thank you to Teen Choice for giving teens a chance to vote for something, because I love getting these!"</P><P>The "Twilight" saga was given the evening's Ultimate Choice award, bringing the series total to more than 40 Teen Choice Awards. Stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner accepted on the movie's behalf. Lautner called it "an extreme honor," and Pattison and Stewart gave it up to the fans, literally, by handing their surfboards over to members of the audience.</P><P>"The Hunger Games" star Josh Hutcherson was named Choice Movie Actor: Sci-Fi/Fantasy, and was quite proud of his new trophy. "I've always wanted to own my own surfboard, so now I have one. This is awesome!" he said. "The Hunger Games" was also named Choice Book and Choice Movie: Sci-Fi/Fantasy, and Hutcherson and co-star Jennifer Lawrence were given Choice Lip Lock honors.</P><P>One Direction were not on hand to accept their awards for Choice Summer Music Star: Group, Choice Music Breakout Group or Choice Love Song (for "What Makes You Beautiful"), but they sent in a humorous video of themselves receiving the surfboard award by mail.</P><P>"The Vampire Diaries" and its cast picked up a handful of awards, including Choice TV Show Sci-Fi/Fantasy and Choice TV Actor Sci-Fi/Fantasy (for Ian Somerholder), and Somerholder also won for Choice Hottie: Male. (Miley Cyrus, who wasn't on hand, won Choice Hottie: Female, along with Choice Fashion Icon: Female.) When accepting his Choice Hottie award, Somerholder thanked his fans and said he loves them all "each individually."</P><P>Zac Efron, a multiple winner for "The Lucky One" (he picked up Choice Movie Actor: Drama and Choice Movie Actor: Romance, while "The Lucky One" won Choice Movie: Drama), also thanked his fans, whom he called "the best fans in the world."</P><P>Jonah Hill gets credit for reaching outside the show's target demographic to poke fun at 82-year-old Oscar winner Christopher Plummer while picking up the Choice Movie: Comedy award for "21 Jump Street." "I got nominated for an Oscar earlier this year, and I lost to a guy named Christopher Plummer, who's an older, fantastic actor. And I'd just like to point out that he's not nominated for anything tonight. So I'm better."</P><P>Choice Comedian winner Ellen DeGeneres poked fun at the awards show's surfboard theme when picking up her award, her fourth. "What does [the surfboard] have to do with anything?" she asked.</P><P>But her frequent guests <a href="http://newsroom.mtv.com/2011/10/12/nicki-minaj-super-bass-youtube/">Sophia Grace and Rosie</a> weren't complaining. Justin Bieber Paparazzo Charged In Car Chase
Photographer faces one year in county jail and fines up to $3,500.

<P>Nothing will stop the paparazzi from getting their shot, and it looks like they're paying for it — at least for Paul Raef, the photographer who dangerously <a href="/news/articles/1689184/justin-bieber-paparazzi-car-chase.jhtml">chased Justin Bieber</a> down Los Angeles' 101 Freeway last month.</P><P>The Los Angeles City Attorney Office confirmed it will be filing four criminal charges against the 30-year-old photog. The highway pursuer potentially faces one year in county jail and fines up to $3,500. City attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan tells <a href="http://www.eonline.com/news/333076/justin-bieber-paparazzo-charged-for-dangerous-chaotic-high-speed-chase" target="_blank">E! News</a> the freelance pap faces four misdemeanor charges, including following another vehicle too closely, reckless driving with the intent to capture pictures for commercial gain, reckless driving and failing to obey the lawful order of a peace officer.</P><P>It's a less-than-surprising outcome for the high-speed chase, which landed the pop star a speeding ticket. According to Mateljan, the speedy paparazzo was driving his Toyota Rav4 at least 80 miles per hour as he attempted to chase down the 18-year-old's chrome Fisker Karma. Among one of the nearby drivers that had to stay clear of the chase was Los Angeles City Councilman Dennis Zine. Describing the chase as "a very dangerous, chaotic situation," Zine says he was driving 60 to 65 miles per hour before Bieber passed him "in a careless, reckless fashion" and was eventually pulled over.</P><P>Raef made use of Bieber's stop by speeding away from the scene but wasn't willing to give up so easily on the potential photo and continued to follow the singer only a short 30 minutes later, before Bieber made a call to 911 for help. Police found the photographer afterward when his license-plate number was spotted in a parking garage in downtown L.A. Days after the incident, <a href="/news/articles/1689221/justin-bieber-harassment-paparazzi.jhtml">Bieber filed a harassment complaint</a> against Raef, alleging the pursuer was acting "extremely aggressive" on the road.</p>

"Spring Breakers" Stars Take Paris
Giving their eagerly awaiting fans some much-wanted attention, Vanessa Hudgens and Selena Gomez waved off their hotel balcony in Paris, France on Sunday (February 17).
Also joined by their fellow "Springbreakers" cast members Ashley Benson and Rachel Korine, the group of beloved young actresses had plenty to smile about as they headed off for another day in the City of Lights.
Enjoying the love she is receiving on her trip to the beautiful city, Selena posted a photo of a crowd with a caption reading, ":))))) so amazing... I love you guys."
The highly-anticipated flick, which is set for a nationwide release on March 22, follows four college girls who land in jail after robbing a restaurant in order to fund their spring break vacation. The group later finds themselves bailed out by a drug and arms dealer who wants them to do some dirty work for repayment.

Interview: 'Perks Of Being A Wallflower''s Ezra Miller Understands Fanboy Rage

Although 19-years-old, Ezra Miller has been acting for several years, the young actor really made his name playing the titular character in Lynne Ramsay's horrifying and excellent 2011 drama "We Need To Talk About Kevin."
Last year, Miller took on one of YA literature's most beloved characters when he signed on to play the part of Patrick in Stephen Chbosky's adaptation of his own blockbuster book "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" (out on Blu-ray and DVD now). Hailed by critics as one of 2012's best films and certainly the most authentic and heartfelt teen films in many years, "Perks" is a beautiful and poignant coming of age tale starring Miller, Logan Lerman, Mae Whitman, and Emma Watson.
MTV recently spoke with Miller to discuss bonding with his fellow cast members, the terrifying prospect of messing up the adaptation, and feeling infinite.
MTV: On the Blu-ray bonus features, Stephen Chbosky mentioned that "Perks" took so long to make because he was waiting for this cast. How did you get involved with the film?
EZRA MILLER: A Skype. It was all a hateful Skype. [Laughs] I went in on tape — I guess in a more traditional way first — and then I did a Skype session with Stephen, and that was it. When I got cast for this film, nobody involved had actually met me. They only experienced me through a twenty-second delay in a fluorescently lit casting office. So I think that, considering that we never did any sort of chemistry reads, the fact that Stephen was able to find this group of people who are able to come together in such a meaningful way beyond even the call of duty of the work and all become this true group of friends and make this movie together, I think was miraculous in a number of ways. I think Stephen is a man that knows how to really swoop in on a miraculous occurrence and use it to further miraculous ends.
MTV: It's pretty amazing how well you guys got along. It makes the film feel very authentic.
EM: I imagine that good chemistry can just come from when the scene is working and when all the actors involved are properly accomplishing their jobs, but there's definitely a tilt and an advantage to when everybody actually falls in love with each other on set. It's got to help, at least a little.
MTV: Were you nervous about how this massively popular and beloved book would translate to the screen, or did that just melt away when you heard that Stephen was directing?
EM: It went away once Stephen actually started directing. It was so plain to see that he had such a clear handle on his own vision and how he was going to accomplish it in this new medium. Before that, it was terrifying because I've been a person who has been angered by film adaptations of books. I've felt that fanboy rage that so many are a part of. I didn't want to be guilty of that sort of defilement of a work of art that I really loved.
But once Stephen was in the commander's seat, I think a lot of our anxieties were able to slip away, and we were able to just focus in on the work because we knew that he had it under control. He wasn't going to let that happen, and that was sort of the ultimate comfort.
MTV: There are so many "teen" films out there these days that just don't get it right and don't bring across what being a teen really feels like. "Perks" nails it though. How did you work to create that authentic teen experience on the screen?
EM: I think it was one of the trickier things about making this film. We wanted to make a film that was true to teenage life, but that teenagers could actually see in theaters. There was a big thing just about how the reality of most teen films becoming inauthentic in their attempt to be viewable by a teenage audience and that a lot of films that speak to truly depict the teenage experience end up being rated NC-17. How can a thirteen-year-old kid possibly be allowed to see Larry Clark's Kids, for example, even though it might be the truest depiction of thirteen-year-old kids at that time in New York. That's an interesting line to have to walk, and I think Stephen just had a really adept sense of how that could possibly be pulled off and work and we were all just trying to follow along.
Mae Whitman and I really wanted the characters to be chain smokers like they were in the book, but it was more important to us (and everyone on the film) that this movie somehow managed to slip into that small gap where it's both PG-13 and true to life.
MTV: Do you have fans come up to you and say that it lived up to their expectations?
EM: Yes! In fact, I have yet to hear (although I guess it would take a pretty ballsy person) the opposite. Even the press reception or what I've heard of people in the various blogospheres, it seems like people find something similar or something new, but it seems like it's been largely positive, which is an amazing blessing.
MTV: Do you have a favorite memory of "Perks" either on screen or off?
EM: There are a couple that are hard to hold in comparative mind. A lot of them are just times in the hotel rooms when we'd all be together and we'd all be playing music and it would be 5:30 in the morning and we would have had complaints from the hotel but we wouldn't care because we were all so wrapped up in each other as these fantastic human beings. Those are probably some of the best memories.
And then going through that tunnel at the various times when we did go through that tunnel. "Rocky Horror Picture Show." You know, certain moments that are just incredibly beautiful to be a part of and to watch blossom into reality that way.
There are definitely a lot. I haven't been able to find "the one" just yet.
MTV: What is it that makes you feel infinite?
EM: I think it's any time that I can allow my own mind to shut up even just a little, and a lot of things can do that. A song or losing myself in a piece of work with a character or even just sitting in a beautiful place when you look at the world around you and it's endlessly reflective. When you're looking at the ocean or the sky and there's an internal awareness, but not as much internal chatter. Your head goes quiet for a second. I think we all do naturally exist in a state where there isn't actually a separation between us and all of the things that we perceive.

<P><a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/bieber_justin/artist.jhtml">Justin Bieber</a> has been declared, "Hot, Ready, Legal" — and not just anywhere, but on the cover of <i>Rolling Stone.</i></P><P>And in the accompanying interview with the magazine, the singer, now 18, admits he's feeling a bit older since becoming legal.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Justin Bieber Proving His Haters Wrong With 'Good Music'" id="vid:793035.id:1687833" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>"I feel like I carry myself in a more manly way," he explained in the <a href="http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/on-the-cover-justin-bieber-becomes-a-man-20120718#ixzz20zFCJaGC" target="_blank">issue</a>, which hits newsstands on Friday. "I don't carry myself as a boy."</P><P>In addition to feeling older, <a href="/news/articles/1687569/justin-bieber-live-evolution.jhtml">his manager, Scooter Braun</a>, makes no apologies for Bieber having a personal life and not hiding it from his fans. He admits he's not too worried about Bieber losing fans thanks to his very public relationship with Selena Gomez.</P><P>"Personally, I think that's all a bunch of bulls---," Braun said. "Yes, there's gonna be some girls that if they see him with a girlfriend, it kills the dream — but there's also gonna be girls that see him with a girlfriend, hear about the romantic things he does and want him even more."</P><P>Bieber <a href="/news/articles/1689820/justin-bieber-reveals-rolling-stone-cover.jhtml">tweeted</a> out a photo of his cover on Tuesday. This is his second <i>Rolling Stone</i> cover, having previously graced the <a href="/news/articles/1658289/justin-bieber-abortion-rolling-stone.jhtml">cover in February 2011</a>. That appearance was met with controversy after Bieber was misquoted as saying he doesn't "believe in abortion." (The magazine later issued a statement clarifying Bieber's comments.)</P><P>If fans are feeling some déjà vu looking at Bieber's latest cover, it might be because the magazine used a <a href="http://gawker.com/5926723" target="_blank">similar tagline</a> when Lindsay Lohan appeared on <i>Rolling Stone</i> in 2004, when she, then 18, was featured in the magazine's annual Hot List issue.</P><P>Bieber's timing on the cover of the magazine lines up with several big events for the singer. Daniel Craig Out Of 'Dragon Tattoo' Sequel? 'No Way', Says The Girl
Yesterday, The Hollywood Reporter claimed that it was Daniel Craig's salary demands that have held up production on a sequel to "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo." Since the first film didn't fare as well as hoped, corners would have to be cut for the characters of Steig Larsson's popular novels to appear on screen again stateside.
But when MTV News' Josh Horowitz spoke with Rooney Mara on the red carpet for Steven Soderbergh's "Side Effects," she was quick to dismiss the talk as baseless rumors.
"I've been talking a lot with ['Dragon Tattoo' director David Fincher] about the sequel, and I don't know where that rumor was started — but it would never be a possibility," Mara said. "He wouldn't be written out."
With the creators of "Dragon Tattoo" remaining cagey on what might happen with "The Girl Who Played With Fire," we'll have to wait and see what becomes of Craig and the series.
