But is Abi really an ally? As it turns out, Abi has issues with RC being too friendly with Michael. This makes RC wonder if she can count on Abi? Over at Kalabawa Tribe, the rain is driving everyone batty. As the newbies seek shelter in a cave, Jonathan searches the camp for the idol and finds it!
Day 5 and its still raining! At Matsing, Roxy talks with Russell about breaking up the cuddle-couple of Angie and Malcolm. He, in turn, talks with Denise, who has a secret sub-alliance with Malcolm. Malcolm is beginning to sense possible trouble with his cuddling of Angie. Back at Tandang, while most of the tribe deals with the rain by talking about food, Lisa wanders off for a private cry. Can she regroup and get over her emotional hump?
Day 6 and its still raining! At Camp Matsing, Roxy is beginning to bail out emotionally. Nobody wants to cuddle with her and she does not like doing camp chores. The Sun finally returns just in time for the Immunity Challenge! A pair from each tribe must drag a heavy sled to recover one of three batches of puzzle pieces. Once all three sets are gathered, one pair works on the puzzle while a ′caller′ barks out instructions from an elevated perch. The first tribe to solve the puzzle wins immunity, plus pillows and a tarp. The second tribe wins immunity and a tarp. Once again, Tandang and Kalabawa tribes are neck and neck with Matsing way behind. This time, Tandang wins 1st Place and Matsing is again the loser tribe. This prompts Russell to express his frustrations about Roxy and Angie not giving their all during challenges.
Back at camp, Russell continues his angst. Roxy tries to talk him into booting Angie, and Russell discusses this plan with Denise. Malcolm and Angie talk about booting Roxy and Malcolm discusses this plan with Denise. Denise is the swing vote and is not quite sure which way to go!
At Tribal Council, Russell continues to rant about what it takes to win Survivor, not that he really has much experience with that. Jeff asks Roxy what one thing she would want to change to improve their tribe? Roxy complains that the others are wasting too much energy on camp chores. Denise disagrees with her as fire tending and water fetching are essential. When Jeff asks Angie the same question, Angie answers that she thinks cookies would help! Malcolm tries to defend her answer but Jeff is not buying it. Roxy then outs Malcolm and Angie as being a show-mance couple. Jeff grills the clueless Angie on it while Roxy keeps fanning the flames. Its time to vote!
We see Roxy and Angie trade votes. Jeff tallies the rest of the ballots and its 4 to 1 against Roxy. Even her ally, Russell has had enough. Thus ends our recap of Survivor Philippines, Episode 2. Spoilers for next week shows Lisa trying to be more sociable, Russell having doubts about something and poor Michael getting more banged up!
